Forged Steel Hair Pin and Crocodile Barrette

A special collaboration between Irish bladesmith Jon Allen of @bespoke_bloke_designs and myself.

Jon handcrafted the forged steel hair pin, while I created the accompanying barrette using reclaimed crocodile skin and a copper base.

Combining forged steel, aged exotic leather, and hand-worked metal, this piece celebrates traditional craftsmanship and the beauty of repurposed materials.

The crocodile skin has been given a second life, transformed from a vintage bag into a unique piece of wearable art.

Designed to be both beautiful and functional, the forged steel pin is substantial, durable, and made to last, while the barrette showcases the distinctive texture and character of genuine crocodile leather.
